What If You Lived Alone and Something Happened to You? Who Would Know? For many seniors, individuals living alone, and families with aging loved ones, this is a very real concern.
Sheriff Alert Care Calls is working to provide peace of mind—one call at a time. Our wellness and security Care Call program provides regular check-in calls to seniors, individuals living alone, and others who benefit from knowing someone is checking in. And when someone doesn't answer, we don't simply stop calling.
Our program includes follow-up procedures. After 4 unsuccessful contact attempts, if we cannot reach the participant's emergency contact, our team coordinates with local law enforcement to request a welfare check. Our mission is simple: Make this important service available absolutely FREE to residents of participating communities.
We've Been Making a Difference for 6 Years!
Sheriff Alert Care Calls began operating in Lee County, Virginia, six years ago.
Today, we serve five counties across three states, with official participation from county sheriffs:

We want to expand our FREE Care Calls service into five additional counties:
Washington County
Russell County
Washington County
Our goal is to serve approximately 100 residents in each new county, bringing FREE Care Calls to as many as 500 additional people. We will seek official sheriff partnerships wherever possible, but may also provide Care Calls independently in counties without formal sheriff participation.
Here's Exactly What Your Donation Will Help Fund:
It costs approximately $5/week, or $260/year, to provide direct Care Call service to one participant.
That means:
OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL IS $130,000.
That amount will help cover one full year of direct Care Call service for approximately 500 additional residents across five counties.
Where Will the Money Go?
Contributions from this GoFundMe campaign will be designated for the direct cost of providing FREE Care Calls to residents in our expansion communities. Our business and Community Partner sponsorship program will separately seek funding to cover employee, administrative, and other operational expenses. SPONSORS
